Valentine’s Day is always a fun excuse to get dressed up and head out for dinner and drinks. I’m sharing some cute date night looks from Red Dress Boutique. Whether you’re in a romantic relationship or headed out with the girls on Galentine’s Day, here are some pretty Red Dress outfit ideas.
The best part about these pieces are they are total mix and match! There are a wide range of looks you can recreate from just these Red Dress outfit ideas. Not limited just to Valentines’s Day!
Red Dress Outfit Ideas
Leggings and Sweater
A pair of black leggings with a black turtleneck sweater looks romantic when the sleeves are balloon shaped and the sweater is soft and cozy. This sweater is fitted, though it’s got some give to it that makes it comfortable to even just lounge around the house in. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I am all about cozy pieces that look just as good outside the house as they do in and on the couch!
An oversize distressed denim jacket makes a style statement and provides coverage over leggings while out and about. Tie it around your waist if you’re inclined, or add a scarf around your neck if you live in a cooler climate. Which for many of us, February is definitely on the colder side.
This burgundy hat has been a favorite in my collection for some time. Why not break it out for Valentine’s Day and give a nod to the overtly red theme of the occasion?
You may already own a pair of faux leather leggings, though if you haven’t tried the magic of Spanx, you’re missing out on something. They really do what they promise to do, which is make everything look lifted, tightened, and toned. Classic black makes them worth the investment.
Another alternative to leggings is a pair of black jeans. I like mine with a ripped look for a more casual vibe.
Sequin Midi Dress
This black sequin dress is destined to remain a classic. It’s modest silhouette allows sequins to work for almost any occasion. Throw a sweater over the top to dress it down. The denim jacket also makes it more street then precious, though by all means wear the dress on its own for a more formal occasion. My aim is to show you how versatile this dress is.
Lace Dress
This pretty lace dress is also a classic that can be worn from anything like a wedding to a graduation ceremony, and in between. The high lace collar neck keeps it classy and the pretty sheer ruffle looks extra feminine. And the lace is soft! I find itchy and stiff fabrics very difficult to wear, so I can assure you that you will never find me sharing anything that is itchy or uncomfortable.
