Easy St. Patrick’s Day Nail Art

Beauty

The polishes in this post were gifted to me c/o Olive and June. St. Patrick’s Day is a relatively happy and carefree occasion to celebrate with good friends, good food, and good drink. I’m going to share some easy St. Patrick’s Day nail art. Since your hands are going to be on display as you hold your drinks for a toast, may as well have a festive manicure for the occasion!

Easy and Classy St. Patrick’s Day Nail Art

I thought long and hard about how I wanted my St. Patrick’s Day nails to look. I tend to like a natural looking manicure, and wasn’t sure if there was a look I would like for St. Patrick’s Day nails. St. Paddy’s Day is typically associated with bright and sparkly shades of green, orange, yellow, and gold, so I thought it might be a fail trying to go with this theme.

I was swiftly proven wrong when I first applied Olive and June’s 7-Free Nail Polish in WKF. It is a beautiful shade of olive green, and super trendy right now. I’ve found the green of my dreams in WKF! For the accent nail on both ring fingers, I also used an Olive and June color, KMC which is more of a mint, or Easter green. My manicurist applied some tiny pieces of gold foil to my right ring finger while the nail was still wet, so they would stick. Afterwards she applied a top coat to all my nails. I am thrilled with the results of my easy and classy St. Patrick’s Day nails. Sometimes it doesn’t take a lot of effort to have beautifully themed nail art!

Our absolute favorite polishes are Olive and June. If you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend. Not only is the company woman owned, though the polishes are “7-free” which means they are clear of the seven most harmful chemicals that are found in typical nail polishes. This includes dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide or xylene. Olive and June’s formulas are also vegan and cruelty free.

You can use the code Jaimie20 to get 20% off your order. The Olive and June site is so much fun to navigate. I love the oh so trendy polish collections, though polishes can also be purchased a la carte, and the way they arrange the ability to shop the site. It’s also an uplifting shopping experience, with notes on who and what inspired the different colors.

Olive and June is also known for their Manicure and Pedicure Systems. These are kits that contain all the needed essentials for the perfect home mani and pedi. They really thought of everything, my favorite item is the little brush that is dipped in the also included nail polish remover to clean up the sides of the nail after painting. Check out the complete collection of items in each kit.
