The Perfect Little Black (Sparkly) Dress
Black is timeless, and when it comes to holiday dressing, so are sequins. Put them together, and you have a dress that will be available for steady rotation. The Karen Kane Sequin Sheath Dress has light-catching sequins and a curve-defining silhouette. It’s above-the-knee length keeps it classic and suitable for all occasions, which includes chasing kids around. With its stretchy mesh lining, you can bend and twist as much as needed. This long sleeve dress is fully lined with its sequin embellishment. I didn’t find it to be itchy or heavy. It’s actually quite lightweight and breathable.
The Fit
This dress fits true to size, though I would advise going down one size if you are after a body conscious fit. I’m wearing a size small. I chose to go with a true to size fit so I could work this dress from my husband’s corporate functions to a night out with the girls. Had I wanted it just as a party dress, I would have sized down.
Nude Heels Create the Illusion of Endless Legs
This dress can go the distance depending on how you style it. It’s a showstopper on it’s own with nude heels that create the look of a longer leg. Options are Endless with the LB (Sparkly) Dress
There are other ways this dress can be styled. You could throw a blazer over top, or even a denim jacket with sneakers for a fresh look. Put on a sweater, and it looks like you’re wearing a sequined skirt, maybe over some boots? If you do decide to layer a sweater, I recommend putting on a t-shirt first, just so the sweater don’t snag on the sequins. Choose one that lies flat and does not peek out under the sweater.
