We’ve just had a curfew put on our state due to rising coronavirus cases. The general feeling is that things are going to get worse before they get better. With that in mind, I’ll be hunkering down in my favorite pair of denim jeans, a pair of straight legged cropped jeans that work well over any boot or shoe. Before buying yet another pair of sweatpants, why not take a look at these denim favorites from Everlane that might just become your go-to favorites even after quarantine is over? With a cotton feel, button up fly, and wider leg opening, these jeans are made for days when sweatpants aren’t cutting it. By that I mean you have to go out, though you still want to be comfortable. They always have such a range of washes, in shades that are of the moment and somewhat unique to other brands I’ve seen. With price per pair hovering around $85 for a pair of quality denim, Everlane is one of the first places I go to look for new jeans.

The thing I like most about these straight legged cropped jeans is that a variety of shoes can work with them. The cropped hem allows for a seamless transition between ankle booties and flat, sneaker, or sandal. The Day Glove shoe, as pictured below, is a leather flat that conforms to the unique shape of your foot. They are so comfortable, making them the perfect shoe to finish off an outfit of comfy denim. My advice is to read the sizing guide on these shoes, due to the nature of their fit, the sizing guide is unique, though accurate. I wear a size 9 shoe, and sized up as advised. The shoes fit perfectly. They come in a rainbow of neutral shades, I kind of want them all!
