She Styled It: Diane Taha of Style Context

The “She Styled It” series is a series featuring other women sharing details about their outfits, and describing what style means to them. Here’s how it works… the person selects an item from their wardrobe and styles it two to three different ways.

Diane Taha of Style Context is a fashion influencer and podcast host with a pretty and feminine style. I love her generous selections of blush pink pieces! I recently appeared as a guest on Diane’s podcast Channel Your Influence, and it seemed only natural to feature her as a subject on She Styled It. I’ve admired Diane’s Instagram feed for some time. In addition to her sweet style, she shares major beauty inspiration! I love scrolling her feed to see what products she uses. If you’re looking for the latest beauty products, my suggestion is to check out Diane’s account.

How to Style a Cropped Yellow Cardigan

1) What piece did you choose to style and what made you choose it?

Cropped cardigans are really trendy lately. I came across this bright yellow cropped cardigan from TigerMist, which made me think of summer. Yellow is one of those colors people either love or hate but I am a fan! I also went up a size because I didn’t want it to fit too short on me. So far I’ve only worn this top in quarantine (hence the mirror selfies!), but I’m looking forward to when I can wear it to brunch, the beach, and when visiting my favorite cities. You can even wear it to work!

2) Is there anything that inspires your fashion choices?

Like a lot of people, Instagram is a major source of inspiration for me. I’ve discovered so many new boutiques and trends through my favorite bloggers/influencers. It’s definitely influenced what I shop and where I shop.

3) What does the word “style” mean to you?

Style to me means adapting fashion and making it fit your personality and vibe. The way I style a cropped cardigan is going to be different from the way you style it. I think of “style” as your “brand” aesthetic – it’s always going to be unique to you.
