3 Cute Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Thanksgiving is on November 26th this year and marks the start of the holiday season. While most of us are eager for the year 2020 to just END already, I’m doing what I can to enjoy the day to day. Even when I’m just with my own immediate family, putting on a new dress or sweater makes me feel like I’m celebrating. Let’s face it, this year did not offer many opportunities to dress up, so I’m looking forward to making an effort this year on any and all holidays I can!

Plaid Dress

The dress in this photo is sadly no longer in stock, though I’ve found a selection of other plaid dresses that can work for a variety of tastes and budgets. Plaid never goes out of style, and is easy to dress up or down. Make it casual with a slouchy cardigan, or dress it up for a date with a pair of over-the-knee boots or heels. A pair of sneakers makes a plaid dress look right for everyday.

Stylish Sweater

One can never go wrong with a beautiful sweater. This year has been all about cozy sweatshirts and loungewear. Take Thanksgiving’s look up a notch with a beautiful cashmere sweater or make a style statement with a brightly colored sweater. Feels good to get out of the sweatshirt doesn’t it?

Sweater Dress

A sweater dress is a happy medium for Thanksgiving attire. It can be dressed up with a pair of heels or cute booties, or if you want to be ultra-comfy, a cute pair of sneakers. A side note for when we can all start gathering again: if you’re not sure what the dress code might be at an event, or are indecisive, a sweater dress is always a safe bet for most occasions.
